About Kathy

downloadKathy is a former event planner who left at a crossroads to explore and pursue her passion for helping others. In 1994, she completed a 7-week bicycle trip across the U.S. that gave her plenty of time to think about the direction she wanted to take in life.

Upon arriving back home to Florida, she picked up the book The Artist’s Way, which changed her life forever. After completing the book, she felt inspired to attain her Masters in Adult Education – one of her heartfelt goals – at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). The degree provided her with the foundation to begin teaching classes based on the book at Palm Beach State College in 1996.

In 2004, after surviving a scary and unexpected bout with cancer, Kathy found herself stuck and unable to move forward. It was then—and upon facing her depression—that she became aware that the mounds of clutter in her home and her tendency for procrastination was blocking her from having the fulfilling and joyful life that she wanted.
